Our Name.

Growing up my grandparents had a cabin and a log home in northern Michigan that they named after my sister and I. The cabin was positioned in a perfect little cove along Lake Huron - hence the name, Chelsea Cove. Years later they decided to build their dream log wood home across the street - hence the name, Rachel Wood. These two places are no longer in the family but they will always hold a huge place in my heart because so many memories were made up there. Being up there surrounded by the sound of waves crashing along the shore and the serenity of the wildlife in the woods will forever be the most relaxing and comforting thing in my opinion.

Cove & Wood is a boutique that offers pieces that easily transition from comfy and casual to classy and fun. The focus is to provide fashion that can be worn while lounging at home but can also be dressed up when going out.

About Me.

I grew up in a small town called Flushing, MI. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University and majored in Social Relations and Policy. I have a long career history in sales and love working with people! I now live in the metro Detroit area. I married my husband Vince in Summer 2019 and our son Cole was born Summer 2020. We have two cats, Georgia and Gracie. I enjoy traveling, golfing, the beach, sun, donuts, wine, coffee and shopping of course!
